Position Title: Floor Coordinator/Stacker
Shift: 3rd Shift | Monday to Friday | 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Location: 12424 Emerson Drive, Brighton, MI 48116
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Assignment Type: 3-Month Temp-to-Perm
Position Summary:
The Floor Coordinator supports production operations by assisting in moving parts from tables, stacking, wrapping, and supporting trimmers under the guidance of a team lead. This role also involves inspecting and packing products, finishing pallets, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety compliance.
Essential Functions:
Set up and maintain assigned floor station
Read and understand job travelers and specifications
Recognize and handle common parts
Perform basic math to track parts per pallet
Identify inconsistencies and defects in parts
Palletize and wrap products for transportation
Support 2–3 trimmers and ensure their workspaces are clear
Complete housekeeping duties, including removal of scrap
Inspect products visually and using appropriate tools
Fill out production, identification, and quality paperwork
Communicate order status and quality issues with operators
Strap and move skids using pallet jacks
Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE
Assist team members on production lines as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience / Skills:
2 years of machine operation experience preferred, but not required
Production or assembly experience preferred
Experience working with foam is a plus
Basic computer literacy
Strong reading and writing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Motivated and open to learning new tasks
