Job Title: Stamping Operator (3rd Shift)
Location: Greensboro, NC 27409
Shift: 3rd Shift – 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Sunday–Thursday)
Pay Rate: $18.87/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and motivated Stamping Operators to support production operations on 3rd shift. This is a production-oriented role (not a warehouse position) that involves moving materials throughout the production floor, supporting department needs, and ensuring smooth workflow between teams. Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet, walking the floor, and pushing carts throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess material needs and develop forecasts for assigned production areas at the beginning of each shift.

  • Order and coordinate materials to support the production schedule.

  • Transport raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods, and scrap to and from the production floor.

  • Handle pickups and drop-offs between departments to maintain efficient workflow.

  • Prepare outgoing materials using a variety of methods including scanning, labeling, and wrapping.

  • Complete required documentation for outgoing materials, including intercompany bills of lading.

  • Unpack and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices.

  • Maintain accurate records of received materials and report or reject damaged or incorrect items.

  • Post weights and shipping charges as required.

  • Lift and move heavy items and operate equipment such as pallet jacks; occasional forklift use may be required (training provided if needed).

  • Follow all company safety guidelines, procedures, and policies.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Production-floor environment (not a warehouse setting).

  • Frequent standing, walking, pushing carts, and transporting materials throughout the shift.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.

  • No regular forklift operation required, but occasional use may be trained and assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Entry-level role; little to no prior related experience required.

  • Ability to learn basic job skills, company procedures, and safety policies.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.

  • Dependable, organized, and able to complete routine tasks efficiently.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
