Pay Rate: $21.21 per hour

What's a typical day as Structural Mechanic I You'll:
  • Perform assembly and fitting of detailed parts and structures, including drilling and riveting operations, ensuring all parts meet specified requirements.
  • Rivet structural assemblies and parts using tools such as portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, and rivet shavers.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and operation sheets to determine the sequence of operations and hole patterns for rivets.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, ensuring all work is defect-free before final inspection.
  • Support Lean Activities and maintain a neat and orderly work area while complying with all safety regulations.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Must-haves:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and a 6" scale.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work any shift, as well as climb ladders and work in restricted areas.
  • 1 year of related structural assembly experience.
Nice to have:
  • Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
  • Aerospace industry experience.
