Location: Toledo, OH
Pay: $26.50/hr.
Duration: 2-yrs (potential to be hired on based on performance and if permanent role is open)
Work Type: Hybrid role. 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), and other days as needed. Subject to change.
Hours: Flexible, i.e. 7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, 8:30am-5:30pm ET. Monday - Friday.
Interview Process: Teams Interview and top candidates will be scheduled for a second round
Ideal candidate:
Experience in purchasing of raw material and finish goods in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communications skills (ability to communicate with external and internal clients)
PowerBI tool knowledge preferred as well as deep understanding of using Microsoft Excel for analysis.
The Supply Chain Specialist responsibilities include analyzing requirements and acting on timely procurement of raw materials and ensuring our suppliers are paid timely and/or timely planning and scheduling of finished goods products to meet demand. Using analytics this individual will provide insight towards improving supplier lead times, order quantities, and inventory management that results in working capital savings, cost reductions, and optimal scheduling. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate activities across functional areas as well as with vendors, carriers and plant personnel. Bottom line, we find a way to keep plants running efficiently and without interruption, so that we get the right material to the right place, at the right time.
