Technical Writer
Shift: M-F, 8am-4:30pm
Length of Assignment: 6 months+
Location: Eugene, OR- 100% onsite
Pay: $29/hr

Seeking a Technical Writer in Eugene, OR. This position will support manufacturing operations that produces products used for labeling and detection in cell biology, molecular biology, and related fields.

Responsibilities:

• Work in the Finished Goods, GMP department to write work instructions for technical/scientific manufacturing operations.
• Review and interpret historical production records and manufacturing documents to collect data and information about existing processes to make accurate changes to manufacturing batch records.
• Work directly with manufacturing department staff to determine required document format and the methods, procedures, and best practices to include in the instructions.
• Manage document creation and revision in an electronic document control system.
• Coordinate with team members to share workload, track and report project status, and review work done by others to ensure accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree desired in a scientific field- Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 2+ years laboratory experience or manufacturing experience.
