Kelly Science has an immediate opening for a Technical Writer for our growing client near West Chester, OH. Join us in shaping the future of technical documentation and making a meaningful impact every day!

Title: Technical Writer  
Location: Cincinnati, OH (hybrid, 3 days in-office weekly)
Length: 6-12 months
Rate: $37-$42/hr. + Benefits (PTO, federal holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, etc.)

Join our team as a Technical Writer and be at the forefront of crafting impactful documentation that drives innovation and success. As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in producing top-tier documentation utilizing your expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Your responsibilities will span from collaborating with internal teams to understand documentation requirements to executing plans with precision.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand documentation needs and deliverables.
  • Partner with the MSAT technical team to craft critical project documentation.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and visually engaging content.
  • Develop and implement technical document templates, ensuring standardization and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written English skills and a proven track record in technical writing.
  • Drive the creation of preliminary drafts, walking through studies, and refining them for engineering teams.
  • Ensure document consistency and professionalism by cleaning up formatting and addressing labeling issues.
  • Pharmaceutical or Biomanufacturing experience preferred

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (e.g., biology, biotechnology, engineering) or related life science field OR Associates Degree in technical discipline (e.g., biology, biotechnology, engineering) or related life science field with minimum of 1 years' related experience.
  • Ability to gain a basic understanding of pharmaceutical laboratory and/or production operations; Ability to understand and apply CGMPs to everyday work.
  • Experience using Excel, Word, and other office systems.
  • Aptitude to learn and use quality, operations and/or scientific management software such as TrackWise, etc.
  • Executes procedures with high quality; Edits Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with guidance from supervisor.
