Territory Sales Manager
Our client in need for a Sales Territory Manager to represent products, and drive sales growth, primarily in forestry and road milling markets.
The Territory Manager will oversee and coordinate all activities in the assigned region.
Role will oversee the sales and business development within a specific geographic region or territory. They manage client relationships, monitor sales performance, and work with teams to achieve sales targets. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, customer service, and sales skills.
Reports to: National Sales Manager
**Extensive travel requirement (4-5 days/week)
**Preferably located in GA, AL, or FL
**South/Southeast territory
Client takes pride in manufacturing and selling a full line of roof drill bits, continuous miner bits and accessories, manufacturing bits, road planning, soil stabilization, reclaiming, grading, trenching, and foundation drilling bits and carbide tooling products that are American made.
Their newly rebranded tools focus on providing a wide range of high-quality tungsten carbide products and cutting tools primarily used in industries such as mining, tunneling, construction, agriculture, and forestry. This rebranding aims to enhance capabilities in delivering durable, hard-facing tools for North America's industrial sectors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Soliciting potential customers and expand customer portfolio, primarily in Forestry and road milling division, by seeking and servicing new customers.
Responsible for Product development efforts.
Must establish and maintain relationships with customer base.
Focus on creating value for end users by offering industry leading support, product knowledge, and quality service.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share within the assigned territory.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients and developing a pipeline of qualified leads.
Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to strengthen relationships and explore opportunities for additional revenue.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Business, sales or related field preferred.
5+ years' experience in road milling or road construction required.
History of sales growth required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to regularly travel throughout the region, work overtime and over the weekend.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
Excellent math skills to draft and implement budgets and conduct data analysis.
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive results.
