Timekeeper
Location: Rosharon, TX
Pay Rate: $22-28/hour
Schedule: Full Time or Part Time Hours Available
Contract Type: Temporary to Hire

Kelly Services has recently partnered with a construction company seeking a Timekeeper to join their team. Our client is a full service electrical construction company that is rapidly growing and looking to find a dynamic candidate to join their office team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Timekeeper with general knowledge of FLSA rules for overtime. Apply today for immediate consideration!

Job Duties:

  • Analyze time entries for completeness according to established guidelines.
  • Compare time entries against actual GPS for approximately 400 employees (and growing).
  • Validate rule exceptions and adjust time entered manually if incorrect.
  • Document any time adjusted including reason for adjustment.
  • Monitor inbox for equipment changes/time adjustments. Route exceptions for approval.
  • Maintain vehicle/equipment assignments in Verizon Connect and validate exceptions daily.
  • Ensure all GPS devices function correctly and troubleshoot/initiate repairs to keep all devices running.
  • Additional administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Timekeeper
  • Knowledge of general FLSA rules for overtime
  • Mid-level MS Excel user
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to analyze thousands of lines of data
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Sound decision maker who is not afraid to ask questions
  • Ability to inquire without being accusatory
  • Previous experience working in the Construction industry is a plus
