Position Overview:
The Trainer is responsible for creating and managing site communications concerning training announcements, ensuring timely delivery with accurate content. They play a pivotal role in maintaining and updating the Learning Management System (LMS) course and session data, supporting training efforts across the winery, and developing timelines for the execution of training programs and implementations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the LMS, demonstrating and training users on the application.
  • Support the development of customization requests to tailor department training needs and ensure compliance with corporate training policies.
  • Collaborate with HRIS for proper maintenance of the LMS and represent the department during LMS bundle testing.
  • Maintain and update the training department's intranet page and manage vendor files, ensuring contracts are current.
  • Contact vendors and contractors to verify scheduling, validate cost adjustments, and align objectives.
  • Produce and maintain Evaluation Average/Attendance Percentage summary reports, offering additional reporting as necessary.
  • Manage departmental budget expenditures.
  • Support the setup and logistical needs for training sessions, educate clients on site training policies, and conduct New Hire Orientation as needed.
  • Prepare various documents including correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, and training data, proofreading and distributing them accordingly.
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline department processes and update departmental policies and standards.
  • Coordinate special projects assigned by the manager and provide administrative oversight, including technical support to the training department.
  • Transport training materials and supplies as needed between training facilities.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field preferred.
  • Experience in human resources, corporate training, or operations support reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word (basic level), and MS PowerPoint (intermediate level preferred).
  • Experience with HR systems such as PeopleSoft or similar software.
  • Ability to manage small to medium-sized projects effectively.
  • Required to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong numerical proficiency.
