That's where The Reconciliation Analyst analyzes premium billing and claims receivables, reporting on business activity within established practices. This role addresses discrepancies between billing and payment, creates models, and recommends procedural changes.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports for management, including transaction analysis and recommendations.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues identified during financial balancing.
  • Perform financial analysis (e.g., accounts receivable, claims trends) and assist in creating models for procedure changes.
  • Monitor and analyze business activity, making recommendations based on findings.
  • Handle special assignments and act in the absence of the Manager.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and participate in audit discussions.
  • Represent the operations department on corporate teams for project implementations and improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field with 8 years of experience in financial data analysis; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Alternatively, 12 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Cognos, Word, Access, and PowerPoint; intermediate database skills required.
  • Professionalism and effective relationship-building skills are essential.
