Description

Truck Driver

Join our dynamic Production Operations team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials between facilities.

This is an 100% onsite position in Edgewood, NY (Long Island)

Job Specifics:

  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM w/benefits
  • Compensation: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour + Annual Bonus
Responsibilities:
  • Manage equipment and trailers in the yard.
  • Move trailers in and out of bays.
  • Ensure steady flow of material between facilities, meeting SLAs.
  • Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Assist logistics with trailer moves.
  • Move equipment between warehouses.
  • Off-load trailers and scan material.
  • Remove and replace recycle trailers.
  • Maintain yard horses and ensure they are fueled.
  • Load broken equipment into trailers.
  • Train new drivers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a fulfillment operation or related environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in English (Spanish communication skills a plus).
  • 3+ years of commercial driving experience.
  • Valid certified Forklift or Power Jack License.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Valid CDL required.
