Job Description – Trust Analyst / Trust Coordinator

Location: Farmington Hills, MI (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Assignment Dates: 12/01/2025 – 10/31/2026
Pay Rate: $22/hour

Position Summary

The Trust Analyst (Trust Coordinator) is responsible for completing a wide range of operational functions within Trust Operations, utilizing trust systems, financial applications, and Microsoft Office tools. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members, management, and clients. The Trust Analyst helps ensure accuracy across trust accounts, general ledger activities, and daily cash operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform operational tasks within Trust Operations using trust systems and additional computer applications.

  • Clear general ledger entries and assist with identifying and correcting errors.

  • Monitor, identify, and resolve out-of-balance conditions across Trust DDA and General Ledger accounts.

  • Serve as a liaison to resolve cash reject tickets and ensure timely corrections.

  • Partner with external vendors as needed to resolve discrepancies or system out-of-balances.

  • Participate in special projects and process improvements as assigned.

  • Maintain accuracy, compliance, and documentation for all assigned tasks.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a bank or financial services environment.

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Experience with balancing numbers, analyzing data, or working with general ledger systems.

Required Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Computer literacy and ability to learn specialized trust systems.

  • General ledger knowledge preferred.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
