The role of a tutor.
- Work in small group sessions with K-8 students during school multiple times per week. These sessions will be virtual.
- Understand student learning gaps based on information given to you and provide targeted instruction to students using our virtual partner's platform and curriculum.
- Foster strong and positive relationships with students through significant, consistent, and regular amounts of time.
- Monitor and report student progress and attendance while communicating effectively with teachers and parents.
- Review communications and attend regularly scheduled meetings with tutor leadership team to stay up to date regarding program changes and updates.
Specific information about the Kelly® Education virtual tutoring program.
- Provide small group virtual tutoring sessions for K-8 students
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-9:30am, 10-11am and 12-1pm EST
- Pay rate is $18/hour for tutoring sessions, no prep required
- Must have active fingerprints through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)
Minimum requirements.
- Fluent English speaker
- Computer/laptop with stable internet connection
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Previous virtual experience is required
- Ability to consistently work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-9:30am, 10-11am and/or 12-1pm EST
- Ability to utilize required technology (i.e., GoogleMeet, Google Docs, GoogleSheets, online platforms)
- Experience preparing and leading tutoring sessions with small groups of elementary students
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
