Why should you consider a position as an Warehouse Associate ?
- 1st Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (or until work is completed for the day, possible 10-12 hours per day)
- Monday through Friday (possible OT on Saturday)
- $19.00 per hour
- Possible Temp to Perm Opportunity
What's a typical day as an Warehouse Associate?
- Read production schedules and work orders to determine required items to move, gather, or distribute.
- Convey materials from receiving or storage areas to production, staging areas, or other designated locations.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences (size, type, style, color, product code).
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Open bales, crates, and other containers.
- Record quantities of materials received or distributed.
- Weigh or count items to ensure conformance with company standards.
- Use computer systems to enter and maintain records, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Adhere to quality measures by accurately picking and communicating lot numbers and expiration dates.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED;
- Prior experience in warehouse / manufacturing environment
- Computer experience preferred, with the ability to learn and function in SAP and Microsoft Office environments.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one situations.
- Proficient in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
