Job Posting: Warehouse Custodian - Janitorial Associate Needed in Pooler, GA

We are urgently hiring Custodial/Janitorial Associates for local warehouse facilities in Pooler, GA. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity with a prestigious company!

Position Details:

  • Pay Rate: $16.50/hour
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
  • Location: Pooler, GA

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning of the warehouse facility
  • Clean restrooms, mop floors, replace paper towels, and empty trash bins
  • Maintain cleanliness in the break room, including mopping, sweeping, and trash removal
  • Regularly check and empty warehouse trash cans and keep outdoor areas tidy
  • Clean offices by dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, and vacuuming as needed

Requirements:

  • Preferably at least 2 years of custodial/janitorial experience
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to train on high-reach lift trucks for overhead cleaning
  • Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Willingness to train on floor scrubbers and learn safe chemical handling procedures
  • Competency in using a pressure washer safely
  • Proficiency in English for understanding job-related terminology and instructions
  • Capability to follow written and verbal procedures effectively
  • Emphasis on safety and the ability to lift 50 lbs, kneel, bend, squat, and carry items
  • Comfort working in warm and dusty environments
  • Skills in organization and planning for efficient job performance
  • Commitment to accuracy and timeliness

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous
