Kelly is hiring! Warehouse Order Assembler
Location: Woodridge, IL
Schedule: 12:00pm – 10:30pm
Job Type: Temp to Permanent
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Work boots required.
  • Assemble and fill customer orders for shipment to customers or other divisions.
  • Load and unload both company and common carrier vehicles.
  • Prepare and ship customer orders via UPS/LTL.
  • Process and verify all paperwork related to shipments:
    • Confirm all shipped merchandise is correct.
    • Apply appropriate postage and tape.
    • Complete necessary BOL (Bill of Lading) information for LTL shipments.
    • Follow all customer shipping instructions; ensure shipments when required.
  • Gather and verify order quantities and descriptions from carts, and document total merchandise shipped on invoices.
  • Pack orders into appropriate containers and arrange them onto shelves per truck route.
  • Match and verify shipping items and quantities against invoices.
  • Substitute for other warehouse staff as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Use warehouse management system scanners for picking orders and general material put-away.

Qualifications
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Excellent attendance record required.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Requirements
  • General knowledge of electrical products preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team and fulfill customer needs.
  • Basic math competency for accurate completion of tasks.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in handling multiple warehouse functions.
