This is a direct hire Welder/Fabricator position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Details:
• Day shift Hours M-Th 6am-4:30pm, Friday 6am-2:30pm (48 hours per week) OR Night shift Hours M-Th 6pm-4:30am, Friday 6pm-2:30am (48 hours per week)
• $21.00-30.00/hr. based on skills/experience, night shift has $3.00/hr. differential
• Louisville, KY
Position Information:
• Use various welding techniques to join materials including MIG, TIG and Pulsed MIG
• Read blueprints and drawings to meet customer specifications
• Examine completed products for defects and measure according to drawing specifications
• Conduct weld tests to assess accuracy and quality, and identify various metals and alloys, such as mild and stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to efficiently move materials and equipment into and out of the work area
• Use grinders and other hand and powered tools to grind, bevel, or fit metals together; inspect welds using tools and NDE techniques.
Required Experience:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 2+ Years of welding (MIG) or (TIG) experience required
• Experience with Pulsed MIG welding preferred, willing to train the right candidate
• Skilled with reading and understanding blueprints
• Fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move large products
