At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we're seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our innovative manufacturing team in Scottsville, NY. If you have experience with welding, fabrication, and equipment maintenance, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Pay: $18-25/hr. Direct Hire!
Schedule: A Shift (6am to 4pm, Mon-Thurs) or B Shift (2pm-10pm, Mon-Fri).
- B Shift applicants must be able to train on A Shift for the first month.

Summary: As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding and cutting using Oxy-Acetylene and plasma tools. Your mechanical aptitude will play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment, motors, gear boxes, bearings, and other components. You will work across various areas in our plant to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Essential Duties:
- Using equipment (shears, rollers, saws, press brake) to fabricate components and structures, according to technical drawings and diagrams.
- Maintain production furnaces (grease/check bearings, repair furnace shells).
- Maintain ingot cleaners and rooftop heating units.
- Service exhaust and positive air fans plant wide.
- Inspect and maintain hoisting equipment throughout the plant.
- Assist with the destruction of reactors for the Nitric Acid team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be clean-shaven (or able to pass fit testing to wear a respirator).
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing, crawling).
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment that includes exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise levels.
