Healthcare is changing and it's time to shine at Luminis Health Medical Group! We are currently seeking a Surgical First Assist – NP in our Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Become that beacon of light and hope to our patients.

The Surgical First Assist – NP will provide supervised medical services for patients with emphasis on acute/same day care. All duties are in collaboration with contracted physician.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing education and counseling appropriate to the medical needs of the patient.
• Maintaining current licensure and continuing medical education credits as required by Maryland State Law.
• Communicating treatment/therapy progress with individuals who have the responsibility or control in patient care intervention.
• Referring patients to appropriate licensed physician or other health care provider as condition or circumstances warrant.
• Performing duties in accordance with established routine procedures as set forth by the State of Maryland, BPQA (Board of Physicians Quality Assurance), AMA (American Medical Association), HCFA, and AAMC policies.

Requirements include:

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
• 2 years of experience as a NP in an acute care setting
• Current state license and current CPR, BLS, and ALS certification
