Title and Summary

Analyst, Business Development Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

Overview:
The Services Business Development team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include Test & Learn experimentation, payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, and data-driven information and risk management services. Client verticals include Financial Institutions, Retail & Commerce, Digital Partnerships, Governments, and many others.

Role:
Responsible for supporting diverse revenue projects to help North America Services Business Development team achieve aggressive sales goals with YOY growth expectations in the low twenties. The role focuses on increasing efficiencies across and effectiveness of the team by:
• Driving revenue recognition and acceleration across our Business Market Insights and Consumer Acquisition and Engagement product lines and across all client verticals
• Developing and leveraging existing financial reports (from Salesforce and Tableau) to track and improve business performance vs. forecasts
• Performing value added, ad-hoc analysis to support business improvement decisions
• Frequently collaborating across internal stakeholders (e.g. Controllership, Advisors & Consulting Services, Product Management, Finance, Insights & Enablement, Marketing, Legal, etc.) to drive the business forward
• Improving knowledge management practices specifically around speed to revenue across the Business Development team

• Some work experience, ideally in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly analytical role
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative and innovative problem solving
• A team player with the ability to communicate effectively and develop solid working relationships across multiple stakeholders and business units
• Mindset to improve systems and processes and drive automation where applicable
• Will-to-win attitude and a desire to learn and adapt as business needs change
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• SQL, Tableau, Salesforce, and/or accounting/FP&A experience are a plus

Pay Ranges

New York City, New York: $77,000 - $119,000 USD

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
