Title and Summary
Analyst- Product Delivery Engagement OverviewMastercard is a technology company in the global payments business, we operate the world's fastest payments processing network, connecting consumer, financial institutions, merchants, governments, and businesses in more than 210 countries and territories.
Product Delivery Engagement works across Latin America and the Caribbean to help bring new products to market, performs product readiness assessments, and manage pilots and special projects across the entire region. We also partner with our product and delivery colleagues to provide support and provide subject matter expertise where necessary.
The position is based in Sao Paulo Brasil and reports into the Product Delivery Engagement organization.
Role
• Executes project initiatives and develops quantitative/qualitative reports
• Responsible for alignment across own project work stream(s) to ensure accurate dependencies are identified and integrated
• Assist in the analysis of market readiness and escalates issues
• Assesses and documents customer needs and impact of implementation on business and technical processes
• Provides input on how to enhance infrastructure and tools to support customer implementation
• Defines and documents standard and non-standard customer implementation processes
• Leads assigned product delivery projects to ensure contractual objectives, delivery on-time and revenue goals are met
• Acts as central point of contact for customers and/or MasterCard customer representatives
• Ensures resolution of day-to-day technical/operational issues as related to assigned delivery projects
All About You
• Background and experience in payments or financial technology; strong client management, business development, or sales experience – ability to understand customer and constituent needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends and competitive landscape. Experience in managing a commercial program with an issuer a plus
• The successful candidate must be commercially savvy, and at ease during negotiations with customers; must demonstrate the leadership skills to identify opportunities both internally within the account management teams, as well as externally with financial institutions and alternative distribution channels
• Working experience and knowledge with Merchants and Corporations
• Strong financial acumen; proven ability to perform quantitative analysis to build business cases, report on program results and present to internal and external parties; demonstrated business acumen
• Excellent writing and presentation skills; ability to develop and communicate program strategies and vision to executive management
• Team player; strong influencing skills, with the ability to convince and execute through others who do not report directly
• Self-starter, able to work under limited supervision, and in an ambiguous environment; used to dealing with short-term financial targets, and high pressure environments
• Prior knowledge of the payments business environment in Latin America a plus
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Fluent in English and Portuguese. Spanish a plus
