Overview
The Associate Analyst is an important member of the New Zealand and Pacific Islands team, working hand in hand with the Country Manager and Account team to ensure smooth day to day operations, shape strategy and build data level insights. This hybrid role blends strategy development, market and portfolio performance analytics, business operations and targeted executive support.
Strong communication, curiosity, and analytical capability will help you succeed as you learn the payments landscape. You'll support day‑to‑day customer activities, operational tasks, onboarding processes, and broader strategic initiatives.
Role
Strategy and Market Support
- Work with the Country Manager and Account Leads to create, refine and maintain market strategy documents, business plans, customer account reviews and executive presentations.
- Assist with analysis and reporting including market insights, performance metrics, trend updates and competitor intelligence.
- Support strategic initiatives by preparing benchmarks, competitor analysis, research summaries and insights.
- Support Account Leads responding to day to day queries from customers, and coordinating follow ups
- Contribute to customer presentations, internal briefings and materials for senior stakeholders.
- Maintain tracking of agreements and deliverables, ensuring updates are accurate and tasks are logged.
- Participate in internal discussions with teams such as Product, Digital, Customer Delivery, Finance, and Marketing to gather information and help move work forward.
Targeted EA Support to Country Manager
- Manage the Country Manager's calendar, scheduling and prioritisation.
- Complete expense submissions
- Coordinate domestic and regional travel logistics
- Provide administration support for key customer and internal meetings.
All About You
- 1–3 years of work experience, ideally in business, analytics, operations, or customer‑facing roles.
- Strong communicator with clear verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills - able to build crisp and compelling documents.
- Comfortable analysing data and presenting insights in a simple, logical way.
- Curious about payments, technology, and how digital solutions work.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Enjoys working with customers and internal teams, building constructive relationships.
- Comfortable working in a commercial environment, with exposure to sales or customer servicing an advantage.
- Takes ownership, follows through on tasks, and delivers high‑quality work.
- Demonstrated integrity and discretion.
