Title and Summary
Associate Managing Consultant, Advisors & Consulting Services, Program Management - Marketing Technology Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Program Management consultants lead clients through business transformations by implementing strategically important Mastercard assets and services to bring value and drive growth. They serve as the Center of Engagement across all stakeholders within Mastercard and the client's organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
You will manage multiple projects within a portfolio, providing efficient and effective coordination of a complex range of activities by clearly defining project team and stakeholder roles and responsibilities that are aligned with the delivery of the expected benefits. Examples of projects can include PMO support of marketing execution activities, implementation of Loyalty platforms, managing card program launches and conversions on behalf of clients. You will ensure effective identification of risks and pro-active solutioning to mitigate risks and impact on timelines.
Client Impact
• Manage deliverable development and workstreams on multiple large, complex high-value projects across a range of industries, problem statements, and cultures including the implementation of core payments products, security solutions, loyalty platforms, marketing execution projects and card program launches and conversions.
• Utilize proven, accredited project and change management methodologies and techniques to help clients drive measurable value, example includes project management support of Key client marketing initiatives
• Define scope, timelines, and budget and perform cost, benefit, and risk analyses
• Report on issues, risks, progress, and timelines and summarize effectively, offering analysis, options, and credible solutions
• Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner
• Demonstrate expertise in platform orchestration, including designing and managing system integration, and end-to-end workflow automation
Team Collaboration & Culture
• Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations
• Plan, organize, and structure own work and that of junior project team members to address client problems
• Lead team and external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management
• Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and solution development, being a strong brand ambassador for Mastercard and Data & Services
• Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-day project management across client projects, and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
Basic qualifications
• Experience developing and implementing solutions and measuring impact on clients' business
• Undergraduate degree with work experience in project management and change management methodologies and techniques in payments environment
• 4-6 years of Project Management experience with Agile/Scrum
• Experience in marketing automation, customer journey orchestration and data integration across multiple platforms
• Hands on experience in assessing a variety of marketing tools and platforms including not limited to CRM systems, email marketing platforms, content management systems and customer data platforms
• Led platform selection process and worked closely with vendors and stakeholders to understand requirements and evaluate options
• Familiarity marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, Zeta, Pega, Acxiom etc.)
• Strong knowledge of data management, segmentation, lead scoring and marketing analytics
• Knowledge of data integration pipelines and APIs to facilitate real-time decisioning
• Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Looker to track and analyze campaign performance
• Exposure to financial institutions, payments, and/or consultancies
• Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
• Logical, structured thinking
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable)
Preferred qualifications
• Experience coaching junior consultants
• Have completed or interested in pursuing recognized professional accreditation, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Knowledge of Project Management tools
• Exposure to payments and/or retail banking or merchants
• MBA or master's degree with relevant specialization (not required)
• Experience with tools like Adobe Campaign, Braze, or Pega is highly desirable
