Title and Summary
Digital Authentication Manager OverviewThe Digital Payments team is looking for a Digital Authentication Manager to lead the enablement and operational performance of digital authentication in US and Canada. This individual will be an expert on payment authentication, with a focus on partner and product performance to drive adoption and scale.
The role will cover both Identity Check and MDES network tokens, partnering with internal stakeholders in product, acceptance and franchise. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses a strong organizational mindset.
Role
• Program management of authentication services with the largest financial institutions and merchants.
• Monitor issuer operational performance criteria for challenge and frictionless risk-based authentication to create insights on issuer performance and issuer optimization to drive market enablement
• Monitor merchant operational performance to drive market enablement
• End-to-end product operational responsibilities to ensure passkeys deliver a seamless digital checkout experience for consumers.
• Partner with regional and global Product Management, Franchise and Acceptance teams to build and enhance Mastercard's digital capabilities.
• Perform robust market landscape analysis to identify new customer segments for Mastercard to focus enablement efforts (e.g., Merchants, Payment service Providers, Processors, etc.).

• Strong product management and operational expertise with proven ability to execute highly complex projects, with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to clearly articulate requirements for internal sizing and development.
• Willingness and ability to effectively partner and collaborate to prioritize and influence product development.
• Operates with a sense of urgency and sees problems through to resolution.
• Strong business acumen and excellent communication and interaction skills - ability to develop strategic narrative and lead customer-facing technical conversations across different levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to act as a team player and to create trust in cross-functional relationships.
• Forward thinking, with ability to develop creative approaches to solve business situations.
Salary range:
