Ethoca, a Mastercard Company, is looking for a Director, Business Development, Latin American & Caribbean

Role:
Ethoca is viewed as an extremely successful “Gold Standard” Mastercard acquisition / integration. To support our continued scaling, growth and success, we are seeking an experienced Sales and Client Management Leader to broaden market penetration with Acquirers, PSPs, Processors, Resellers, Financial Institutions in Latin America & Caribbean.
Utilize a consultative sales approach and maintain flexibility to adapt solutions and offerings that fit the technical and business buyer's needs to create a long-term trusted relationship and grow revenue.
Serve as an ambassador for Ethoca at industry tradeshows and networking events, positioning Ethoca as a business partner, thought leader, and trusted advisor.
Reporting to Ethoca VP, GM, Latin America and Caribbean, the successful candidate will work closely with both the Ethoca and Mastercard teams to sell, implement and optimize Ethoca's innovative award-winning solutions with customers in the region.
Able to travel to support business needs.

Responsibilities:
Accountable for deepening and strengthening customer relationship and driving overall customer satisfaction.
Design and execute strategies that deliver integrated solutions, sales and revenue growth and value creation for both Ethoca and the customer.
Collaborate with the customers to establish and execute annual business planning and quarterly reviews to establish, monitor and report progress against joint objectives.
Ensure strategic engagement at multiple levels with identified decision makers and key influencers.
Analyze customer's and/or merchant portfolio business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis.
Initiate high-level interactive business conversations with key decision makers around new or emerging opportunities with focus on bringing new revenue opportunities to Ethoca.

Experience:
Several years' experience commercializing recurring fee SaaS contracts with Acquirers, PSPs, Processors, Resellers, Financial Institutions in Latin America & Caribbean.
Deep knowledge of the card and payments industry, with strong understanding of disputes and chargebacks preferred.
Thorough understanding of fintechs, digital disruption and end-consumer payment or personal financial management tools and the effective use of digital banking channels.
History of driving complex initiatives and/or leading customer accounts, relationships, and large cross-functional projects in a collaborative manner.
Solid analytical capabilities and ability to leverage data and analysis into opportunities.
Demonstrated proficiency in coordinating multiple internal organizations to support complex customers.
Demonstrate effective leadership, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
Proven client relationship skills with strong negotiation capabilities and demonstrated influencing, presentation, and communication skills.
