Title and Summary

Director, Business Excellence Interface & Stakeholder Engagement We are seeking a director to manage and coordinate Mastercard's initiatives across products, customer and industry stakeholder engagement activities for the Security Solutions Organization (SSO). The role will be responsible for delivering agreed initiatives, tracking progress against milestones, and ensuring outcomes meet performance targets and customer needs. This role will directly impact the expansion of Security Solutions presence in new security verticals, particularly as we continue to acquire new companies/assets and build beyond our historical focus on “payments transaction” security.
The Director Business Excellence Interface role sits within the Business Integration & Excellence function and reports directly to the Vice President of Product Insights and Optimization. This role will require ongoing collaboration with SSO product teams and senior executives across all domains, with a particular emphasis on identifying and expanding visibility into emerging opportunities—such as Recorded Future and other acquisitions - to accelerate and inform security solutions strategy and product development.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Identifies and develops roadmap of initiatives and areas of collaboration for customer engagements with focus on driving specific business priorities. Serving as the primary liaison, ensuring alignment of strategic goals and operational execution
• Support the development of requirements and initiatives across SSO groups to deliver engagements and initiatives in alignment with Mastercard vision
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring inclusion of key stakeholders such as global product, regional, marketing, comms, Insights & Enablement (I&E) teams and other relevant stakeholders to drive joined
• Lead oversight initiatives and ensure the appropriate Mastercard resources and departments are involved, when relevant, in each initiative to support successful execution
• Execute and implement compliance framework for activities. Ensure all engagement initiatives meet internal and external governance requirements
• Promote, identify and apply best practices to enhance the effectiveness of engagement efforts
• Track and report on initiatives and activities, including program effectiveness, resource usage, and stakeholder involvement of Mastercard resources. Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership
• Oversee the specific program budgets (at program level, not finance level). Ensure efficient allocation and use of resources to maximize benefits
• Support and coordinate the Business Integration & Excellence function internal operations (e.g., Townhalls, SSO product documentation briefings, templates, 3rd party supply management such as consulting services)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and experience in financial services, technology, or a related industry
• Program management expertise with proven experience leading cross-functional customer or partner programs, with strong planning and execution skills across multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex vendor relationships
• Experience supporting or driving customer-facing initiatives, with a focus on aligning internal capabilities to customer needs
• Familiarity with governance processes, compliance requirements, and program performance reporting
• Experience managing program budgets and ensuring efficient use of resources for high-impact outcomes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
