Title and Summary
Director of Dining & Entertainment, LAC The Director of Dining & Entertainment – LAC (Latin America & the Caribbean) will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing the regional strategy for Dining and Entertainment benefits across the region.This leader will adapt global frameworks and assets to fit local market needs while also creating region-specific products, partnerships, and content that elevate customer value and support product differentiation across premium and mass affluent portfolios.
Role:
This role requires a strong combination of product strategy, partner development, GTM leadership, and cross functional alignment across LAC markets.
Dining Strategy
1. Dining Strategy & Development
• Adapt global Dining strategy to the needs, cultural nuances, and consumer behaviors of LAC markets.
• Develop a unified Dining value proposition for LAC that aligns with global direction while incorporating regional priorities (e.g., local culinary trends, fine dining vs. everyday dining, reservation behaviors).
• Identify white space opportunities in the region (e.g., local gastronomic events, destination dining, food delivery, chef collaborations).
2. Regional Product Expansion & Monetization
• Evaluate and develop new monetization models tailored for LAC, including partnerships with local delivery platforms, restaurant groups, and experiential dining providers.
• Support revenue generating initiatives such as premium dining marketplaces, subscription models, or co funded campaigns with partners.
3. Partner Relationship Management (Regional focus)
• Own strategic relationships with priority Dining partners across LAC, including reservation platforms, premium restaurants, and curated dining networks.
• Negotiate commercial terms suited to regional market dynamics and ensure SLAs are met.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and maintain visibility into performance across multiple markets.
4. Alignment & Regional Implementation
• Ensure local card product teams adopt and integrate Dining benefits appropriately within their portfolios.
• Work closely with regional and global platform owners to ensure benefits are operationally enabled in each market (e.g., customer service, merchant capability, digital enablement).
• Guide markets on optimal customer messaging and product positioning.
5. Go to Market Enablement
• Enable LAC Commercialization, B2B Marketing, and Issuer Marketing teams with localized toolkits, training, and insights.
• Ensure that all teams are equipped to drive benefit awareness, usage, and merchant engagement.
• Develop LAC focused storytelling and positioning for Dining value.
6. Performance & Reporting
• Track Dining KPIs for the region, including utilization, partner performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop dashboards and reports to inform strategy, ensure accountability, and guide optimization.
Entertainment Strategy
1. Entertainment Strategy & Proposition Development
• Align global Entertainment strategy by leveraging global assets and ensuring global connectivity, including value proposition and UX is consistent.
• Build the regional Entertainment strategy from the ground up, aligned to global pillars but tailored to LAC market needs (sports, concerts, cultural events, family entertainment, streaming).
• Create differentiated and localized Entertainment value propositions that resonate across diverse LAC cultures and segments.
2. Regional Product Design & Benefit Curation
• Define and develop Entertainment benefits across priority categories (e.g., priority ticketing, presales, VIP access, venue partnerships, regional festivals).
• Identify opportunities to integrate global Entertainment benefits with local experiences, ensuring relevance and incremental value for LAC customers.
3. Partnership Sourcing & Content Development
• Scout and establish partnerships with key players in the regional Entertainment ecosystem: promoters, venues, production companies, streaming services, leagues, and cultural institutions.
• Secure exclusive content and experiences that differentiate card portfolios and strengthen brand perception.
4. Regional GTM & Commercialization Leadership
• Build and execute a regional GTM strategy for Entertainment across countries and card products.
• Enable internal teams and market leads with toolkits, partner calendars, and insight-driven recommendations.
• Partner with Communications, PR, and Brand teams to maximize reach and engagement of Entertainment assets.
5. Cross Functional & Market Alignment
• Serve as the point of integration between Global Entertainment, Product, B2B/B2C Marketing, Merchant, and Country Teams.
• Ensure consistent execution of Entertainment benefits across markets while allowing adaptation for local needs.
6. Performance, ROI & Market Insights
• Track the impact of Entertainment initiatives through usage, NPS uplift, revenue contribution, and brand value.
• Monitor external trends in entertainment consumption across LAC to inform strategy and innovation.
About you:
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Partnerships, Customer Value Propositions, or Loyalty—preferably in LAC markets.
• Experience negotiating with partners, preferably in hospitality, dining, culture, sports, or entertainment.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to adapt global frameworks to regional realities.
• Cross functional leadership skills and experience working in multi market environments.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a strong plus.
• Availability to be in the office 3x per week.
