Title and Summary
Director, Product Management OverviewThe Digital Payments NAM Product Management teams leads the creation, build and running of the Mastercard Digital Payments Products ( MDES, MACS and Agentic Commerce) for the US & Canadian markets.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support regional product management, platform enhancements and business growth for specific digital products, services and capabilities across the product lifecycle – from launch to maturity. Align the digital product initiatives and ensure that there are well-documented, articulated, and communicated requirements for the platforms currently being engineered and integrated. This role enables the consistent high-quality delivery of scalable, maintainable and agile digital payment solutions by composing, maintaining and executing a regional technical roadmap that addresses business needs while leveraging the unique competitive advantages that our architecture offers.
Role:
• Functions as a subject matter expert for the product line assigned and lead solutioning for complex product implementations and rollouts including, but not limited to, tokenization, Agentic commerce, Mastercard Checkout Services, and a variety of new digital commerce use-cases, with external and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct opportunity assessments on new initiatives & ideas, with the intent of leveraging Mastercard Digital Payments Product Suite
• Act as a liaison with Global Products, Customer Delivery and Operations teams for MDES , MACS and Agentic commerce use cases.
• Lead End-to-end solutioning for product implementations based on various use cases.
• Develops and delivers product training to customers and internal partners including updates to new product releases.
All about You:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
• Expertise in working with APIs or working in new product development/innovation departments.
• Knowledge of techniques for requirements capture and specification and the ability to balance tactical commercial needs against the needs of strategic Product & architecture
• Prior knowledge of Mastercard Digital Payments, tokenization, checkout services and Core Systems products a plus.
• Operational /technical background within the payments and financial services industries.
• Prior technical/integration experience with ecommerce providers is preferable.
• Technical competence in the areas of e-comm and mobile payment products.
• Problem solving, product documentation, and project management skills.
