Title and Summary

Director, Product Management Overview
Mastercard Move is empowering next generation of payments between people and businesses, whether money is moving domestically or across borders, by delivering the ability to pay and get paid with choice, transparency and flexibility. Cross-border Services is within the Mastercard Move product portfolio, focusing on delivering fast, transparent and seamless solutions and value-added services for customers to make payments to the world through one integration.

As the Director, Cross-border Services Product Manager, you will be responsible for product strategy, development and day-to-day product management of new use cases, and oversee XBS accounts, licenses, billings, credits and other related solutions. You will also lead, oversee and deploy initiatives by working with Treasury, Finance, Account Controllers, Network and other cross-functional teams. You will help to shape the next generation of Cross-border Services solutions. As an integral part of the product solution, the accounts, billings, credit and settlement and funding solutions will provide more options to customers, enhance the product offerings with flexibility and drive revenue.

Role
- Define, own and maintain product strategy of settlement and funding accounts by working with Treasury, Finance and Control teams. Rationalize account opening, closing and migration needs
- Interact with bank providers, Treasury, Network Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure account strategy and opening can support business growth
- Strategize, acquire and operationalize new payments and e-Money etc. licenses to drive business growth, by holding execution teams accountable
- Drive Treasury initiative OneHub by providing SME knowledge on Cross-border Payments, treasury, account management, payment processing, FX, reconciliation, and adjustments etc.
- Develop business requirements and ensure cross-functional teams such as Technology, Finance, Treasury, Account Controller etc. understand the business needs and bridge the communications
- Perform as a SME, subject matter expert and product knowledge leader to support customers and product to effectively identify needs, recommend solutions, design requirements, and deliver the right solutions with ROI to solve for identified market problems
- Lead and oversee initiative executions, including niche use cases such as Stablecoins etc. by working with cross-functional teams
- Define, own and maintain funding, credit, and settlement solutions roadmap
- Manage and maintain the settlement, billing, credit costs etc. processes
- Educate Product Management, Regional Product Sales, Account Management Teams on product settlement and treasury features and technical aspects
- Act as an escalation leader on the product team for client service issues related to billing and settlement
- Proactively manage Financial risks on Cross-border Services solutions


All About You
- Extensive product management and development experience in the global cross-border payments industry
- In-depth understanding of funding options and Financial risks of cross-border payments such as liquidity, credit, settlement and FX risks
- Hands-on experience in developing settlement and account solutions with a deep understanding of treasury management and payments processing
- Demonstrated leadership in taking accountability, acting with a sense of urgency, delivering plans with a strategic mindset
- Strong technical competence in the area of payment products
- Superior oral and written communication, problem solving and multi-stakeholder management skills
- Excellent project management skills and in-depth knowledge of Agile product development methodology
- Demonstrated ability to define business strategy and plan under ambiguity, and develop solutions with limited supervision
- Experiences in team management
- Knowledge of Mastercard authorization, clearing and settlement systems and processes are preferred

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Purchase, New York: $179,000 - $305,000 USD
