Title and Summary

Director, Sourcing & Supplier Management Overview:
• Manages the full scope of Mastercard's supply chain to effectively meet its business needs while mitigating risk.
• This includes the development and execution of global sourcing strategies, assessing and managing supplier risk, providing payment solutions, and growing supplier sustainability initiatives.

Role:
• Leads & oversees the supply base across designated category, business unit, market, and/or regions to reduce cost and maximize value
• Provides leadership with expertise on market conditions, industry trends, category/product knowledge and emerging supply options
• Partners across the Sourcing and Third Party Risk Management functions as well as all business and finance functions to understand historical spend data, future demands, obligations, business needs and consequently develops global category strategies and implementation plans for the regions
• Identifies, establishes & drives relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
• Progress and administer procure-to-pay policies through trainings and providing transparency through communications and reporting.
• Responsible for the strategic sourcing process by analyzing spend, defining requirements, developing strategies, authoring RFx's and negotiating contracts while improving supplier performance and mitigating risk.
• Drives improvement initiatives
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of sourcing, risk, and legal processes
• Negotiates complex transactions

All About You:
• Experience developing & managing senior & key stakeholder category and regional relationships
• Experience managing supply chains across business units, reducing costs and risks while improving value and efficiencies
• Experience successfully developing & implementing category strategies, enabling spend management, supplier performance and risk mitigation
• Experience leading sourcing transformation projects and supporting strategic initiatives
• Experience managing or understanding of sourcing processes and operations
• Experience with Risk Management

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
