Title and Summary

Director, Strategy Pricing & Interchange Overview:
The Global Pricing and Interchange (P&IC) team:
• Partners with all regions and global business units to execute changes in economics aligned to product- and market-led strategy under a consistent framework.
• Leads the execution of strategic P&IC initiatives which complexity and scope require a global view and coordination.
• Advocates and drives revenue optimization, simplicity, enhanced customer and employee experience, and adherence to principles.
• Has a privileged position with visibility to the most material and impactful initiatives across the organization, allowing it to influence and enrich many commercial conversations, through innovative and strategic thinking and a broad and deep cross-market and multi-functional knowledge.

Role:
This position will be responsible for leading Pricing & Interchange governance frameworks across the organization. Main responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing governance frameworks: a) Creating and maintaining policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance across pricing & Interchange function. b) Establishing clear roles and responsibilities for governance activities.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance of policy and procedures
• Providing guidance, support and training to stakeholders on governance matters.
• Supporting Pricing & Interchange committee functions

All About You:
• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA highly desirable
• Process improvement certification preferred (Six Sigma)
• Expertise applying financial and business management principles, theories and concepts with an emphasis on strategy.
• Background on consultancy and/or strategy ideal.
• Experience with financial modeling (e.g., P&L projections, Cost-benefit, ROI, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to build alignment without direct authority; proven capabilities to influence and get things done through others.
• Ability to interact effectively across multiple functions, geographies, and levels within the company.
• Ability to turn data into meaningful information and present it in a concise, professional manner for senior management review.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring that key messages are articulated.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously; motivated self-starter.
• Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office- must be intermediate to advanced in Excel and Access and proficient in PowerPoint and Word).
• Ability to handle confidential information and materials with appropriate discretion.
• Able to work independently with minimal direction. Will have considerable exposure to Senior Management.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
