Title and Summary

Manager, Business Integration - Legal Services (GBSC) Overview:
The M&A COE team is looking for a Legal Services Lead to drive our end-to-end legal support for M&A activities focused on ensuring a seamless integration of contracting processes from the acquired entity into Mastercard's ecosystem, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with legal and business standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about operational excellence, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.

Role:
In this role, you will:
• Support the assignment, amendment, renegotiation or termination of vendor contracts in accordance with Mastercard standards
• Assist the business and Sourcing in vendor optimization, risk management, template management, vendor communication, and procurement workflow optimization
• Partner with GBSC LFI through the NDA process design and implementation
• Develop training and playbooks for business and legal on Mastercard's fall back provisions and contracting standards
• Support legacy agreement legal reviews while providing actionable insights to the business
• Serve as a bridge between M&A and GBSC Legal operations to ensure consistent application of Mastercard's preferred practices
• Work closely with contract lifecycle management tools, document management platforms, and analytics tools to align the acquired entity's processes with Mastercard's systems.
• Define and track KPIs and report on the progress of legal integration

All About You:
• Bachelor's degree, combined with relevant experience required. JD or other advanced education is a plus
• Solid legal and business acumen, sound analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage workloads involving tasks of varying priority and complexity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with emphasis on collaborating with key legal and business stakeholders to negotiate and confirm legal and business contract terms
• Ability to recognize when to escalate and when to exercise independent judgement and discretion in reviewing/negotiating contracts
• Experience operationalizing global legal processes a plus

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
