Title and Summary
Manager, IT Governance and Design Operations We are seeking a professional that will bridge the gap between technical innovation and corporate accountability. Your primary mission is to ensure that the organization's IT investments—specifically in our payments platform—align with business goals while meeting stringent regulations. You will design and implement processes related to our delivery, improvements and monitoring and will lead internal and external audit flows.OPERATIONS:
Guides teams in framing business goals, defining scope and breaking down work efforts into actionable plans and clear deliverables
Identifies in partnership with the PMO when a project is going off-track and adjusts as needed to met internal customer expectations
Anticipates potential planning gaps and the impact of changes to current / future projects and prepares contingency / mitigation measures where necessary
Drives retrospectives to surface learnings, opportunities for improvements and executes on those improvements
Weighs in on overall resourcing prioritization and allocation processes, offering insight which / how team members' skills align with business goals
Oversees tools selection and management processes, evaluating usage, ROI and training needs to ensure successful adoption and is responsible for external supplier relationship management
COLLABORATE:
Contributes to formation of new processes / ways of working to improve efficiency and productivity of projects, programs and team
LEAD:
Identifies skills gaps and develops learnings plans to address them for the team
Identifies opportunities to improve how CX / design fits into overall Agile and SDLC processes. Implement "Green IT" governance to track and report on the environmental footprint of data center usage.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience Level: Typically 7–10 years in IT governance, IT Projects, IT audit or cybersecurity for management-level positions.
Specialized Projects: Leading cross-functional digital transformation or large-scale AI deployment projects is a critical differentiator in 2026.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Influence Without Authority: Driving accountability and risk ownership across diverse departments (legal, finance, HR) that the manager does not directly control.
Strategic Alignment: Ability to translate IT risks and technical trends into a business development plan that aligns with executive goals.
Desired expertise in Zero Trust architectures and modern security frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0 and/ or ISO 27001.
Expertise in Maturity models, process design, IT service, Agile and Governance models like Cobit
