Open Banking enables innovation by empowering consumers to take control of their financial data. As a Product Manager, you will help deliver on our Open Banking payments product strategy through various Account-to-Account (A2A) initiatives globally, driving optimization, growth, and market readiness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance payment products that deliver on strategic objectives, leveraging user insights, market trends, and emerging technologies to shape our roadmap and achieve measurable outcomes.

In this role, you will:
• Support our A2A product vision and strategic initiatives for Open Banking globally.
• Explore new Open Banking product opportunities that support payment use cases and develop compelling business cases that support the pursuit of those opportunities while aligning with our product strategy.
• Identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities for product optimization across markets, working closely with regional product teams on product priorities, customer needs, and product roadmaps.
• Actively participate in the review and refinement of our Open Banking A2A product strategy.
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, experience, compliance and legal teams on strategic product initiatives and product development opportunities.
• Build and manage relationships with customers and third-party partners, supporting negotiations, deal modeling, implementations, and product pilots.
• Stay informed on Open Banking industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape to refine product positioning.

All About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:
• Familiarity with the Open Banking industry and its application across payment use cases; global experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with A2A payments, platforms and operators (e.g. ACH, RTP, FedNOW, SEPA).
• Experience as a Product Manager and a demonstrated ability to work in a business capacity to define a product roadmap, document requirements, and define / monitor KPIs.
• Experience working directly with partners and customers (e.g. large and emerging Financial Institutions, Service Providers, Processors, and/or digital platform partners on A2A payments and/or Open Banking).
• Ability to analyze complex issues, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
• Demonstrated success in building relationships across cross-functional teams and working independently in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written, verbal, and storytelling skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively and build trust with diverse audiences.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
