Title and Summary

Manager, Product Strategy & Planning Overview - Data & Services within Mastercard
The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and in-house technology to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, test-and-learn business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. While specializing in the payments industry, Mastercard Data & Services also works closely with major retailers, airlines, and other enterprises, leveraging data and insights garnered from within and beyond its network

Role
The Manager, Product Strategy & Planning will join the Insights & Enablement team and serve as a key partner to the Product organization. This role will focus on supporting capacity planning needs from a product perspective, ensuring planning considerations are embedded early and effectively into product discussions and decision-making.
The manager will work closely with Product leaders, as well as internal operations and planning teams, to translate business and product priorities into clear capacity insights. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, and the capability to clearly communicate findings through compelling presentations.
Expectations
• Partner closely with Product teams to understand roadmaps, priorities, and capacity implications
• Facilitate capacity planning discussions from a product perspective, acting as a champion for planning needs
• Analyze key capacity drivers and translate product demand into actionable insights
• Develop clear, concise, and compelling presentations to communicate analytical findings and recommendations
• Support senior stakeholders with data-driven insights to inform planning and prioritization decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including operations, staffing, and technical teams
• Clearly define business questions and structure analytical approaches to address them
• Take ownership of assigned initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
• Build strong relationships with product and business partners to enable effective collaboration
• Proactively manage priorities and adapt to changing business needs
• Act as a professional and trusted partner in all interactions

All About You & Experience
• Business, analytics, economics, or related degree
•5 - 8 years of experience working in business partnering, analytics, operations, or consulting roles
• Demonstrated experience engaging with senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and explain key capacity drivers
• Proven ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations
• Advanced PowerPoint / presentation development skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority
