Title and Summary
Manager, Strategy Pricing & Interchange OverviewThe Asia Pacific Pricing & Interchange team: partners across the Asia Pacific divisions to execute changes in economics aligned to product- and market-led strategy under a consistent strategic framework. The team develops, implements and manages interchange strategies, for both our traditional business and new emerging opportunities or technologies.
Role:
Role is for an experienced technical solution manager for the implementation of interchange changes on Mastercard's clearing platform Detailed responsibilities are as follows:
Support the design and implementation of technical solutions that meet business requirements, focusing on performance, maintainability, and scalability within defined frameworks.
Collaborate with senior leads to analyse business requirements and assist in translating them into clear technical specifications, including data flows and system interactions.
Contribute to the technical delivery process by supporting requirement gathering, implementation, and post-go-live activities under the guidance of senior leads.
Provide support in bridging the gap between business and technology groups, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding of requirements and technical constraints.
Review technical bulletins, documentation, and knowledge base articles to communicate technical information effectively.
Validate system changes to ensure system functionalities aligns with business requirements.
All about you
Minimum 5-10 years of technical experience specifically within the payment industry. This includes deep understanding of payment processing, technology trends, transaction flow and data elements.
Proven knowledge and experience working with various payment schemes with strong technical knowledge in authorization, clearing and settlement process with particular emphasis on interchange fee structures and calculation, preferable with coding background.
Problem-solving skill with the ability to diagnose, investigate and resolve incidents within the stipulated SLA.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills to help guide project prioritization and support resource allocation.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic work environment with shifting business needs and deadlines.
Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently while taking initiative and following through on responsibilities.
Strong oral and written skill with the ability to convey technical information and requirements clearly and concisely.
Demonstrates a proactive and inquisitive approach to problem solving, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
