Automatic Billing Updater (ABU) provides access to updated payment account credentials (card numbers and expiration dates) to partners like Acquirers, Merchants, Payment facilitators so that they can consume/get latest cardholder account information to ensure their customers' payment profiles are kept up to date, so as to minimize authorization failures when making card-not-present transactions. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of key initiatives while overseeing junior TPMs and driving the best practices in the team.


About the role

• Lead a global team of individual contributors who are conceptualizing, rationalizing, and driving multiple simultaneous projects to deliver engineering work
• Drive overall strategy and teams inside and outside of your organization to deliver the expected results
• Deep understanding of the platform, the integration patterns, the organizational capabilities, and the company wide assets that can be leveraged to provide technical solutions to customer problems
• Create a data driven and continuous learning culture across your organization and use this data to drive incremental improvements
• Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators on the organization's score card and move them in a positive direction
• Think strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution rigorously inspecting the delivery plans and execution metrics of your TPMs using your own tech depth and business acumen to assess risks and continuously raising the delivery bar
• Build and cultivate strong internal relationships and teach others how to determine performance and leadership bar
• Drives execution of an outcome from inception through successful delivery of the services or domains, or an outcome that spans multiple teams and integrations across the enterprise
• Works with multiple scrum/delivery teams to build/improve ways of working and identify and mitigate risks or issues that may impact the plan
• Looks across the program to identify potential system efficiencies or process improvements, and suggests proactive strategies for consideration by program leadership
• Looked to as first point of contact for your teams or business line/service and the source of truth for status, providing the correct information and associated data about the state of the project to the right audience at the right time with the right focus



All about you

• Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
• Experience in building large scale enterprise technical or engineering programs and products from inception to delivery and experience articulating the impact using metrics.
• Demonstrated experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning sprints, and delivering technical programs in agile delivery models (scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Help customers and the engineering teams make trade-off decisions by considering all data including business goals, technical platform strategy, customer experience and maintainability. You identify blocking issues and manage their resolution.
• Proven track record of data-driven decision making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams
• Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization
• Huge plus if you have expertise in Payments, IaaS, PaaS, huge plus if you have expertise in CI/CD, SQL databases, microservices APIs, and distributed systems operations in a DevOps model are a plus
• Must have had software developer experience as part of career progression
• Technical program delivery experience
