Location

Ideally, we seek a candidate based in Kyiv, as this is a customer-facing role. Given the war context, we are also open to hiring in our Warsaw office. A fully remote option is unlikely but possible, though the candidate must spend at least 60% of their time in the designated city of employment.

All About The Role

You will join the Services Business Development team that seamlessly connects our advisory capabilities and technology platforms with our customers. You will collaborate closely with advisory teams, product teams, global experts and core business team to create value opportunities for our customers while promoting digitalization, personalization, advanced analytics and cashless solutions. In this role, you will work at the front line with key stakeholders of leading banks, acquirers, fintechs, and merchants to unlock growth, optimize performance, and enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities Include

Together with existing team, shape Services growth strategy in Ukraine & Moldova and execute the strategy

Identify opportunities to drive customer business growth, enhance efficiency, elevate CX and bring innovation by matching the right Mastercard capabilities to their needs.

Leverage your experience, best practices, and global expertise to craft a well-structured, persuasive development proposal and effectively communicate it to executives to drive value creation.

Build strong partnerships with senior client management and establish yourself as their trusted advisor and “thought partner” for emerging business needs.

Partner with delivery and product teams to ensure project quality and identification of follow-up client development opportunities

Ensure proper scoping and contracting of identified opportunities in line with corporate policies and procedures, managing them in corporate systems to drive target delivery.

Actively participate in recruiting, coaching and developing team members


Education Needed

A higher education degree from a top Ukrainian or international university is required.

An MBA is a plus.

Professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are not required but demonstrate overall competency.

All About You

Consulting experience from a top-tier firm is preferred. However, we also consider candidates with backgrounds in Big 4, investment banking, VC, tech companies or internal strategy & transformation units within financial institutions, provided they demonstrate the relevant skill set.

Experience in payments or banking is a plus.

High proficiency in creating presentations using PowerPoint and ThinkCell, structured in a clear, concise, and compelling consulting style with strong storytelling and easy comprehension.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to break down complex issues, structure solutions, and drive data-driven decision-making.

Strategic thinking & business acumen to understand market trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs, driving impactful recommendations.

Execution & ownership to not only develop strategies but also ensure effective implementation, aligning teams and delivering measurable results.

Stakeholder management & influence to build relationships with senior executives, navigate complex dynamics, and gain buy-in for recommendations.

Collaboration & teamwork to work effectively across functions, cultures, and time zones, ensuring strong alignment and collective success.

Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to navigate ambiguity and find innovative solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage clients, influence stakeholders, and collaborate in high-performing teams.

Languages: Fluency in Ukrainian and English
