Title and Summary
Operations Analyst and Assistant to EVP, Humanitarian & Development Overview:The Humanitarian & Development (H&D) Operations is a team of problem solvers and strategic thinkers who are passionate about the power of digital transformation in rural and underserved communities. We love enabling and partnering with the end-to-end business to build, sell, and implement digital tools and innovate new business models that enable access to critical services for the 1+ billion underserved consumers – provisioning healthcare, distributing humanitarian aid, enabling farmers to access markets and financial services, and more.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the H&D business. The Humanitarian & Development Operations Analyst and Assistant to the Executive Vice President (EVP) will own key operational processes and manage projects that contribute to the overall performance of the team. This includes management of Sourcing, which will encompass managing requisitions, contributing to scopes of work, and vendor management. In addition, as Executive Assistant to the EVP of the H&D team, the candidate will also own all team administration, including managing the EVP's calendar and arranging travel, as well as having the opportunity to participate in team meetings with senior internal and external executives to manage next steps. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role helps to advance efficiencies and manage processes within H&D.

Role:
* Provide sourcing coordination support across H&D teams to drive timely opening and tracking of requisitions, SOWs/ POs and invoices; coordinate spend with H&D finance
*Engage with vendors to ensure the timely completion of all sourcing related activities, including registration, contracting and payments
* Schedule and maintain EVP and SVPs calendars and travel, including itinerary planning, ensuring all meeting support is planned and provided for; manage expense reporting; manage end-to-end planning of team events and travel. Includes proactive relationship management and contact outreach
* Manage HR hiring processes, and employee onboarding and offboarding
* Perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day operations
* Own knowledge management across team: manage access to Sharepoint, ensure all folders are regularly cleaned and easily accessible with a logical structure
* Serve as ombudsman for team including planning and executing team-building events
* Plan and execute Mastercard-hosted events including logistics, attendee outreach, management, and follow-up, ensuring compliance to Mastercard policies and standards
* Attend team meetings, document and distribute meeting highlights, coordinate follow up internally and externally to advance team goals, ensuring operational efficiencies and coordination within the groups
* Support executive communications: research for articles / thought leadership pieces, social media and talking point support, and support monthly global team meeting content development
* Manage internal and external special projects and prepare communications and reports as required, such as manage and analyze results of Voice of the Customer Survey; provide project management support across H&D teams

* Demonstrated operational management and execution skills with strong ability to manage multiple deliverables on a time-sensitive basis
* Ability to work with executive level management and related stakeholders with professionalism and maturity
* Ability to navigate complex internal procedures proactively and with proficiency
* Superior written and verbal communications skills and presentation skills, ideally at an executive level
* Take initiative to solve problems to make operational processes within H&D as effective as possible
* Demonstrated ability to work quickly and respond to urgent, unanticipated requests.
* Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to operate in a corporate environment
* Ability to navigate ambiguity
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
* Solid understanding of Mastercard's operational and organizational infrastructure is advantageous
* Bachelors degree
Salary range:
