Title and Summary

Physical Security Analyst I Overview
• Coordinate daily Physical Security operations from the Security Control Center
• Oversee preventative physical security and compliance, and develops, delivers, maintains and monitors physical security policies, standards, and best practices
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by protecting people, property, and information.
• Abide by Mastercard's Physical Security Operational Guidelines and Security Standards to provide safety and security of staff and assets.
• Provides excellent customer service, while maintaining Mastercard Security Standards and Policies
• Oversees compliance and the implementation of disaster recovery procedures

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day Physical Security operations, including:
o Employee Badging and Access Controls
o Monitoring building alarm and CCTV systems
o Assign security post assignments and rotations
o Security Control Center 24x7 operations, advanced security systems and with security staff
• Responsible for operational oversight of security systems and procedures
• Monitors vendor compliance with security operating guidelines
• Coordinates/Dispatches emergency responses to all security events
• Ensures proper escalation of any personnel related issues
• Dispatches Security Officers to intrusion alarms, access control issues and crisis alerts
• Resolves complex customer service issues
• Maintains access to key control
• Initiates Incident Report investigations and provides detailed reports
• Prepares and conducts shift change briefings
• Initiates emergency dispatch, response and mitigation
• Represents Mastercard while interacting with Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement liaison at State and Local levels
• Interacts with employees and guests,
• Provides direction on security policy and visitor information, as needed
• Operational use of security systems
• Compliance with Mastercard Security Operational Guidelines
• Act as a First Responder during emergency fire/medical situations and security events
• Ensures proper escalation of any security related issues
• Resolves complex customer service issues
• Monitors response to access control, fire detection and CCTV systems
• Performs patrols of Mastercard property as directed
• Utilize an incident management software to log daily events/activities

Experiences

1) Valid Driver's License
2) Able to obtain and maintain an AHA-Basic Life Support Provider (CPR) certification
3) If Armed, able to obtain and maintain an Armed Security Officer Licensure through the appropriate local agency, including:
a. Completion of the required classroom course, and
b. Completion of the life-fire safety qualification course
4) Minimum of one year of service as an active or retired law enforcement officer, corrections officer or military service member -or-
Minimum of 1 year as an armed security officer in good standing and an Associate's Degree (or 60 credits) or higher in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice -or-
Graduate of a certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian, law enforcement, adult corrections, firefighting or emergency medical field)
5) Hold a minimum of a High School Diploma, or equivalent
6) Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to solve complex problems and maintain situational awareness

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Kansas City, Missouri: $52,000 - $83,000 USD
