Title and Summary
Product Operational Support Manager Role SummaryThe Operations Manager – APAC is responsible for end to end operational governance across billing accuracy, contract compliance, reconciliation, and reporting for the Asia Pacific region. The role plays a critical maker–checker position in billing processes, ensuring financial controls, audit readiness, and data integrity, while also driving reporting, analytics, and market insights to support business decision making.
This role partners closely with Global billing, Accounting, Finance, Sales, Legal, and Regional Operations teams to ensure that contractual terms are correctly reflected in billing and that APAC operational performance is visible, compliant, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities
Billing & Contract Compliance
• Own the APAC billing validation process, ensuring invoices are accurately generated and aligned with customer contracts, pricing schedules, SLAs, and amendments.
• Act as a key “checker” in the maker–checker framework, reviewing billing calculations, adjustments, credits, and exceptions before release.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and escalations in collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Legal.
• Maintain clear audit trails and documentation to support internal and external audits.
APAC Reconciliation & Financial Controls
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation activities across APAC (billings vs revenue, accruals, deferred revenue where applicable).
• Ensure financial data accuracy across multiple markets, currencies, and entities.
• Strengthen operational controls and continuously improve billing and reconciliation processes to reduce errors and cycle time.
Reporting & Analytics
• Prepare and own APAC operational and billing reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and KPI dashboards for transactions and revenue.
• Provide insights on billing accuracy, contract leakage, revenue anomalies, cycle times, and dispute drivers.
• Partner with Finance and Leadership to deliver actionable analytics that support forecasting and strategic planning.
Market & Performance Analysis
• Conduct market and regional analysis to identify patterns in pricing, discounting, contract structures, and customer behavior across APAC.
• Highlight operational risks and opportunities linked to market trends, regulatory nuances, or regional practices.
• Support go to market and pricing discussions with data-backed insights.
Stakeholder Management & Process Excellence
• Work closely with Finance, Sales Operations, Legal, Commercial, and IT teams to ensure alignment on billing and contract processes.
• Drive process standardization across APAC while accommodating market specific requirements.
• Contribute to system enhancements, automation initiatives, and policy updates related to billing and reporting.

Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in operations, billing, revenue operations, or financial operations, ideally within APAC.
• Strong hands on experience with:
o Billing vs contract validation
o Maker–checker or financial control frameworks
o Regional reconciliations and multi currency environments
• Proven experience in reporting, analytics, and data interpretation.
• High attention to detail with a strong control and compliance mindset.
