Title and Summary

Research Manager Overview
The Advisors Research Center (ARC) is a new team within Mastercard designed to respond to fast evolving customer needs for high-quality research support, with the important mission of value realization in developing insights and recommendations.

ARC is a global research team with multiple regional hubs. ARC researchers apply proven, accredited research and domain experience to partner with any Mastercard client worldwide to help drive impact by:

- Designing high impact research solutions and strategies
- Executing research and delivering impactful insights to clients
- Surfacing insights to identify growth opportunities for new products, segments and opportunities

- Naturally curious about why people think and act the way they do
- Willingness to learn new market research methodologies and to apply the latest, most effective techniques
- Ability to work cross-functionally with colleagues, internal stakeholders and global team members
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources into a cohesive narrative
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to actively participate as a team member on client calls, internal team meetings and workshops
- Ability to communicate and present findings in written and oral form to peers, internal stakeholders and clients
- Ability to manage vendor relationships to ensure research is executed on schedule and within budget
- Ability to work enthusiastically with people outside of their immediate team to drive consensus and results

All About You
- 3-6 years' experience at a research agency or in an in-house research role designing and executing end-to-end custom research (i.e. questionnaire design, survey programming, data analysis, reporting, and presenting)
- Experience with online survey software such as Qualtrics
- Proficiency with at least one statistical software tool (SPSS, Q, SAS, R, Matlab) to support data-driven insights
- Demonstrated experience conducting research across a range of methodologies and approaches (e.g. U&A, Conjoint/Discrete Choice, Concept tests, MaxDiff, Driver's Analysis, Segmentation Analysis, etc...)
- Experience translating research findings into strategic insights
- Strong project management experience with an ability to manage several projects at the same time.
- Some experience with qualitative research, specifically In-depth Interviews and Focus Groups is preferred
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required; knowledge of Project Management tools preferred
