Title and Summary
Senior Analyst, Data Quality Programs-1 The Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) team within the AI and Data Office is responsible for developing Mastercard's data quality program and driving data quality improvements. We ensure data is of the highest quality and is fit-for-purpose to support business and analytic uses. Our team designs controls and solutions that help protect the integrity of the network. We collaborate with regional and global product teams, as well as Services Technology, to identify and prioritize data quality investments throughout the lifecycle of our business. This includes working with standards governing bodies such as ISO to define effective data formats and other standards. Additionally, the team works with tech and product to identify, plan mitigations and remediate all manner of data quality issues. The team is also responsible for the management of key data assets and capabilities supporting DQ, such as our merchant location and company master data, and the Enterprise Data Quality tooling used to profile and monitor data. Finally the team works to launch data quality programs that enforce data quality of data coming into the ecosystem.Role
As a Senior Analyst, Data Quality Programs you will:
Program Leadership and Planning
• Act as a business owner for data quality collection and improvement program investments.
• Execute a strategy to effectively maximize our programs to have the greatest impact on data quality.
• Define and track program KPIs, using data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement and executive reporting.
• Be a member of a high-performing team focused on operational excellence, and data quality improvement.
• Develop project plans and lead delivery of moderately sized projects across a matrixed team.
• Identify issues, risks, and dependencies and develop mitigation plans
Program Governance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Services Tech, and Data Strategy to define platform requirements and success metrics.
• Partner with technology, internal audit and compliance teams to ensure platforms meet regulatory and security requirements.
• Manage associated revenue and expenses to most effectively realize the business objective of improved data quality.
Communication and Alignment
• Work closely with customer teams to assist them in understanding requirements and maintaining compliance.
• Provide second level support for customers.
• Assist in the definition of operational processes.
• Develop project plans and lead delivery of moderately sized projects across a matrixed team.
• Identify issues, risks, and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.
• Run queries and create reports to identify issues and opportunities, and determine the impacts of our investments.
