Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Payroll Governance-2 Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join our Payroll Governance team. This individual contributor role is responsible for the day to day execution and analytical oversight of global payroll vendors, vendor invoice accuracy, and compliance with payroll standards across a multinational environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong payroll and vendor management expertise, demonstrates ownership of vendor performance and financial accuracy, and partners effectively across internal and external teams to drive operational excellence.

Role
1. Vendor Governance & Relationship Support
• Serve as the owner for operational relationships with global and regional payroll vendors
• Support vendor governance frameworks, including operating models, escalation paths, and recurring service governance meetings.
• Ensure vendors remain aligned with company standards for service quality, compliance, data security, and employee experience.
2. Service Delivery & Performance Management
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics across the payroll vendor landscape.
• Use performance data to drive accountability, enforce contractual commitments, and improve vendor quality and efficiency.
• Ensure vendor execution of operational and SOX payroll controls, including documentation, evidence retention, and issue remediation.
3. Vendor Invoice Management & Financial Controls
• Perform detailed reviews of payroll vendor invoices to validate accuracy against contracts, SLAs, headcount, transaction volumes, and agreed pricing structures.
• Identify billing discrepancies, overcharges, or missed service credits and work with vendors to resolve issues.
• Facilitate invoice approval in partnership with regional payroll teams and support timely payment processes
• Analyze payroll vendor spend trends and recommend opportunities for cost optimization in partnership with regional payroll teams.
4. Issue Resolution & Escalation Support
• Support Tier 2 and Tier 3 payroll issues requiring vendor involvement by coordinating information, tracking progress, and facilitating resolution.
• Facilitate collaboration between vendors and regional payroll teams for complex or high-risk issues.
• Track trends in vendor related issues and drive corrective actions to reduce repeat escalations.

All About You
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in global payroll operations, payroll governance, or vendor management in a multinational environment.
• Strong working knowledge of global payroll processes, tax compliance, and vendor service delivery models.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing vendor invoices and validating service based billing structures.
• Experience supporting SOX controls, audits, or compliance activities related to outsourced payroll operations.
• Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
• Highly organized and detail oriented with strong problem solving skills.
