Overview:
The Eastern Europe Middle East & Africa team is looking for its regional New Payments Flatforms (NPP) lead. The NPP EEMEA lead is an agile-savvy, product and technology visionary to define, oversee and develop an exciting new set of products in the new payment platforms space, serving businesses of all sizes. As Mastercard seeks to define a world beyond cash, we are pursuing payment opportunities leveraging non-card technologies.
The NPP EEMEA lead will oversee the regional product management line for New Payment Platforms including Real -Time Payments, Open Banking, Business-to-Business and Cross-Border Services Segments as we continue to expand our business across the region. The role reports into the EEMEA President and the Global NPP President.
Role:
- Define the overarching product roadmap for all business products in the New Payments Platforms space
- Develop, evaluate and prioritize product components, requirements and functionality list based on customer needs
- Oversee all development stages and work
- Define build/buy/partner strategies across capability set and products
- Evaluate quality of product at release and ongoing
- Be the primary liaison between product, technology and customer delivery
- Provide direction and input to Standards, Franchise, Legal and other key partners.
- Interface with external partners to manage the development of new products
- Serves as key member of the EEMEA leadership team and the Global New Payment Platforms Leadership team
All About You:
Deep expertise and knowledge in Real -Time Payments, Open Banking, Business-to-Business and Cross-Border Services
Experience of commercializing new payments technology products in one of the above areas and taking to market
Experience with agile development and directing technology teams
Flexible; able to adjust to changing demands of market, customers and internal strategies
Ability to deliver meaningful technology features and capabilities quickly and seamlessly
Proven record of delivering complex, innovative products in real time payments
Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building and partnering
Problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Open to customer and market feedback; skilled at translating customer needs into product functionality
