Title and Summary
Specialist, Product Management Job Overview: The role within Real Time Payments Global will have responsibility for oversight, helping define and shape Portfolio Management & Investment ROI practices, strategy, governance and stakeholder relationships, that looks to develop changing the ways we work and driving opportunities for profitable growth through robust investment governance and business case development.Role - In this position, you will:
• Drive Portfolio Management and Investment strategy and develop working practices.
• Drive Return on Investment (ROI) opportunities through robust investment governance and business case quality assurance, cost management and manage end-to-end roadmaps.
• Develop new ways of strategic thinking, value proposition and change management capabilities, using success metrics, dashboards and dynamic MI reporting.
• Adherence to activity timelines throughout Fiscal investment planning cycles, meeting deadlines at all times.
• Drive risk management, process adherence, governance/approvals and records management.
• Develop a deep understanding of business strategy in order to design and execute plans in partnership across Product & Engineering.
• Identifies ways for how the business can respond and commit to customer needs, partnering with cross-functional teams to establish the best outcome.
• Oversight of demand management and ongoing maintenance of investment backlog and feature prioritisation.
• Acting as secretary for appropriate RTP Global forums & LT meetings, documenting minutes & tracking actions, along with acting as a delegate when required.
• Responsible for continuous review, development, and implementation of new and creative approaches to ensure Mastercard business objectives are met.
• Responsible for preparation and document quality of portfolio management & investment artefacts on a monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc basis.
• Drive business improvement initiatives, promoting innovation & efficiency and improving ways of working.
• Actively partner with multiple internal teams across Mastercard to meet objectives and to deliver on the day-to-day business commitments, including driving effective relations across partnership functions, e.g. Product & Engineering, Operations & Technology, Delivery, Finance, Risk, Legal & Franchise Integrit.

• Experience within the payments technology industry an advantage.
• Good customer empathy and the ability to act with a client-first philosophy.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with and influence people across the matrix organization
• Strong project management skills, including planning and ability to control moving priorities and change effectively and highly organised to work effectively on multiple concurrent projects.
