Role Overview
The Network Products team is looking for a Specialist, Product Management, to support the development and management of Mastercard's global core payments network products. This role focuses on executing product strategies, managing existing product lines, and contributing to innovation initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, regional market-facing teams, customers, business owners within Mastercard to ensure product enhancements meet market needs and deliver value.
Role
In this position, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps for network products.
• Manage elements of projects within the product lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of enhancements.
• Compile market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Liaise with Finance to compile data supporting business case development.
• Assist in defining business and technical requirements for product enhancements and work closely with technical teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Partner with regional teams to support go-to-market activities and rollout plans.
• Maintain strong documentation and clear communication across stakeholders.
• Assist in developing compelling presentation materials, narratives and visuals, leveraging data analysis to support recommendations and drive alignment among teams
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Have foundational knowledge of Mastercard's payment network and core transaction processing systems.
• Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed organization.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Have analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Show flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or equivalent work experience.
• MBA from a recognized institution or Exposure to product management, product development, or project management would be a plus.
