Technical Program Manager
Mastercard Academy was established over 30 years ago to help our customers and partners gain the knowledge, skills and insights needed to succeed in the world of payments. Over this time, we have developed our training offering not just in the what we deliver, but also in the how we provide it.
With a decade of history in providing on-line education, we are evolving our remote learning capabilities to deliver a range of services and need an exceptional technical program manager to join us to help realize our vision of being the preferred learning partner for the industry.
This role has a key part to play in managing existing and new platform requirements to help us achieve success as we bring new educational solutions to our customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for completing an in-depth planning & analysis for any future integrations with external systems
- Lead the Software Business Case reviews for any SaaS services that need to be onboarded
- Ownership for PowerBI reporting creation
- Assisting in SaaS system configuration to support regional use cases or new feature development
- Co-ordination across multiple vendors as required
- Manage the OneTrust Approval process for any new cookies
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure WCAG 2.2 accessibility compliance
- Support for BAU tasks, e.g. assisting the regions with debugging customer issues, API updates to support regional asks &, liaising with vendor support team as required
- Address customer-specific issues that arise e.g. email deliverability, webinar access issues, login support etc
- Assist with managing the product backlog & backlog prioritisation in Aha along with configuring JIRA to track & manage development tasks
Change Initiatives
- Partner with key internal stakeholders (i.e. Regional Academy Leads, Services product owners etc.) to identify, assess, scope and prioritize required UX/ admin improvements/features.
- Where supplier input is required, work with supplier to raise and progress requests
- Translate into roadmap with key timelines
Experience Requirements
- Project Management: Experience managing technical projects and delivering technology initiatives on time and within budget.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, security,).
- Strong analytical skills to own & manage technical projects and deliver on technology initiatives
- Knowledge of platform services such as APIs, data pipelines etc.
- Proven ability to gather and analyse platform usage data to guide feature development and capacity planning.
- Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical concepts to key stakeholders
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, security).
-Prior experience of working with vendors & third-party technology providers.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose platform issues and identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience with PowerBI, knowledge of WCAG requirements and SSO is a plus
