Title and Summary
Vice President, Account Management OverviewWe are looking for a Vice President, Account Management to lead key accounts in Japan.
As a customer account lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and elevating the customer experience strategy, building strong partnerships, and consistently innovating and problem-solving.
The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, has demonstrated success in managing and growing customer accounts, is entrepreneurial, intellectually curious and highly motivated.
Role
In this client-facing position, you will:
• Be responsible for setting sales strategies as it relates to customer accounts that are aligned with Division strategy and achieving sales goals that drive market share, volume and revenue growth
• Lead and manage existing customer relationships, and work to identify opportunities and customer needs
• Delight Customers by ensuring high-impact delivery of Mastercard products and services. Partner with customers to deliver customized solutions and comprehensive consulting support
• Lead Sales team, set goals, develop account plans, provide coaching and guidance as an inspirational people leader
• Be responsible for pipeline management at the account level
• As a member of the Japan Leadership Team, the position will collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to bring one-Mastercard to the customers

The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Have broad experience with sales strategy development and execution in complex accounts
• Provide consultative analysis, industry insights, and thought leadership to the customer
• Demonstrate transformative people leadership skills
• Proficiency in English and Japanese
