The Department of Critical Care Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a fellowship-trained Critical Care physician. This academic position involves active participation in education, research, quality improvement and clinical practice. Candidates must have a strong commitment to an academic career in Critical Care Medicine.

Candidates must be ABA, ABEM, ABIM, or ABS critical care medicine board-certified or board-eligible. Candidates residency training may be in internal medicine, anesthesia, emergency medicine, or surgery. Additional training in subspecialties like Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, nephrology, etc welcome. Candidate should have experience in multidisciplinary critical care.

Skill sets for the complex critical care of patients with solid organ transplant*, stem cell transplant, cardiovascular surgery, advanced heart failure, ECMO, neurosciences critical care, and medical-surgical critical care are expected. Additionally, ability to function as a communicative, collaborative member of a multidisciplinary, multispecialty team is vital.

The Intensive Care Unit at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is a vigorous 48 bed unit that cares for a broad spectrum of medical and surgical critical illnesses in support of a quaternary hospital. Our ICU in Arizona recently underwent a major expansion with the addition of 18 new beds opening earlier this year.
